New to the Kingfisher Club Renmore is the ITEC Gym Instructor and Studio Instructor Combined Training Programme.
 This course caters for those interested in becoming both a gym instructor and studio instructor. This Qualification is awarded through ITEC International. This is a professional qualification and it is recognised as a gold standard award throughout the fitness industry for fitness instructors and personal trainers.
Graduates of this course will be educated and trained to design fitness programmes, conduct fitness assessments, and teach a variety of group exercise  classes, such as step aerobics, circuit training and body conditioning as well as designing weight training programmes. The course also offers a practical and interactive training experience with full access to our facilities in Renmore for the duration of the course.
This course is open to everyone with an interest in health and fitness and no previous experience is necessary.

 Following nine tough months of racing over 39,270 nautical miles from exotic ports around the world we here in Galway are eagerly awaiting the honour of welcoming possibly the most exciting festival our shores has ever seen, the final leg destination and Grand Finale of the 2011/2012 Volvo Ocean Race.
The Kingfisher Club, one of Ireland’s largest privately owned health and fitness groups is proud to announce their position as the official Sports and Leisure partners of this year’s final leg of the Volvo Ocean Race Galway Grand Finale.
 The Kingfisher Club is really excited to be the official Sports and Leisure partner for this year’s Volvo Ocean Race Galway Grand Finale. To be apart of such a worldwide sporting event is an honour. As health and fitness specialists we understand the dedication to fitness required by all team members participating in this year’s Volvo Ocean Race.
The Volvo Ocean Race Festival will take place from 30th June - 8th July 2012, when a fleet of up to 12 Volvo ‘Open 70’ class boats will arrive here for the final leg three-day race around our island. This will be followed by an eagerly anticipated celebratory closing ceremony taking place here in our very own Galway Bay.
